Into the Wilderness !
Spring is in full Bloom and I’m out to play with some bright bold prints, a pretty colour riot and a hint of bling too. I shot this look in a barren stretch of foliage, that resembled a forest, hence the title ‘Into the Wilderness‘, it formed a perfect backdrop for today’s outfit.
Today’s outfit post is a collaboration with an Indian designer label called ‘Love From India‘ and Indian designer shoe label ‘PAIO ‘, that I’ve introduced to you in a previous post on the blog about here.
Love From India is a label whose designs are young, contemporary and super chic. LFI brings to life the beauty and energy of India in the form of easy to wear, trendy and world class fashion wear. I came across Love From India during Lakme Fashion Week and absolutely loved their unique prints & vibrant colour play. Big Boss star participant Karishma Tanna is their brand ambassador and she sported their designs throughout her stint in the recently aired Big Boss Season 8. They have an amazing collection of cover-ups,shirts, capes, tunics, dresses,bags & scarves& lots more. I absolutely love their beach cover-ups and capes.
My look is straight off the LFW runway, from the Love From India, Lakme Fashion Week collection. I’ve worn this gorgeous printed scenic embellished long cape with blue sequin detailing around the collar and on the sleeve cuffs worn over with this sequin top. The cape has the most beautiful melange of colours and prints and the blue sequin detailing adds just the perfect classic finishing touch, it’s scenic pattern blends perfectly with the forest like backdrop.
I paired the look with a basic black pencil skirt, to balance the colour play in the cape. I accessorized the look with these big bright yellow filigree earrings and carried this printed metallic tote in shades of yellow and green again from Love From India.
I finished off the look with this super funky pair of yellow wedges from PAIO, I love the contrast of the blue & play pattern on the heels and must stay they are really super comfortable and chic. These yellow wedges from PAIO add just the right dash of quirkiness to the look and are sure to be one of favourite shoes this summer.
