Every Summer has its own fun Story and I’m ushering in my summer today in pleasing Pastels & the evergreen Denim. Pastels & Denim make such a fabulous combination, you can never go wrong with this duo. This summer both are going to be my wardrobe staples.

   This summer I take you through some of my simple pleasures in life – sipping on my favourite cold coffee to beat the heat, reading through my beloved fashion magazines to keep updated with the latest in the world of fashion, strolling through pretty lanes of Bandra and plucking some pretty flowers. This is how I would love to spend an afternoon at leisure, but I rarely get the chance to with my hectic work schedule, but whenever I do, I breathe a little & live a little too.

   Today I’m showing you a Casual Chic look, perhaps for a day out with the girls for lunch or coffee and also how to take two wardrobe basics – a Denim Dress & a Pastel Blazer and make it your own. I’ve worn this pretty denim summer dress with white flowers all over, layered with a pastel pink blazer, both from ONLY . This denim dress is so comfortable and chic and the print of white flowers throughout make it so perfect for a hot summer day. The pastel pink blazer is textured with silver side zippers, making it such a summer wardrobe statement for some light layering over a summer dress or tank top. I’ve worn the blazer over the shoulder like a cape and looped a tan belt to add more definition to the flowly denim dress.

  Keeping in mind the pastel theme, I accessorized the look with a pastel statement necklace in hues of pastel pink, blue & white and simple pearl studs for the ears. My colorful beads arm party makes a great addition to my casual look. I donned my other two summer favourites – my Blue mirrored Sunnies and a fuss free side braid – my go to summer hairstyle. I carried this black zipper cross-body bag and a pair nude heels finish off the look perfectly well.
