Hello lovelies, I am super thrilled to share with you today a project that is very close to my heart and that I have been working on diligently for a few months with the super talented Shaze team, to develop an exclusive line of jewellery that reflects my sensibilities and aesthetics. When I was approached by Shaze to collaborate with their esteemed brand, to co create a line of jewellery that embodied my creative sensibilities with the Feisty Fox spirit, I jumped at the opportunity. What was really special about this collaboration, was that for the first time in India a fashion blogger was to be involved right from the inception of the product creation from research,ideation, sketching of designs to selection of the components, overseeing production to finally marketing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Shaze team co creating this limited edition collection of necklaces called the Feisty Fox for Go Bold collection, each one with a very special theme. I spent a lot of time researching, by combing through endless jewellery designs, to seek inspiration to come up with unique themes for each of the pieces, and adding my creative edge, to ensure that they ended up being truly one of a kind.

After endless brainstorming sessions with the team and designers, we finally zoned in on five captivating themes, each one with their own unique inspiration and story. We sat together on the sketches of the pieces,to match my vision and thereafter carefully sourced the components, most of which are  from Italy, for each of the pieces – right from the Italian beads, chains & other materials to be used, the molds, the special casting required to the polish to be used.

In today’s post I’m going to be sharing with you all the behind the scenes action that went into creation and production of this jewellery line. I have always had a great love for statement necklaces and believe that a really stunning one can really amp up even a simple outfit, so it was a truly an enthralling experience working on my very own line of statement pieces. Each of the pieces are bold,edgy and  are sure head turners !

 

Dazzling Dragon Necklace- The Making

Here is look at the first necklace – the Dazzling Dragon, that is a semi choker in gold with textured green beads. For the dragon’s body a special mold was created first  (as seen in blue) and then made in brass with a gold polish.  The techniques used were embossing, filigree and textures by engraving. The stones used were agates and additionally trillion shaped brass components were also used.

Feisty Fox Necklace – The Making

Next we have the sketch of the Feisty Fox Necklace – that is a heavy choker with an ombre look given by the use of dark red to light reddish-orange beads, with a trio of fox heads in gold surrounded with gold engraved leaves. The metallic part of the necklace is brass with gold polish, the technique used for the gold leaves is engraving and the stones used are Italian Ceramic beads.

Cosmic Stellar Necklace – The Making

The third necklace is the Cosmic Stellar and here is a look at the sketch for the piece. This statement necklace is made up of edgy components in different geometric shapes, spikes and Australian shells with a holographic effect.

Goth Chic Necklace – The Making

Next we have the Goth Chic Necklace and here is the sketch. This edgy necklace in black and gold has a choker combined with a long necklace. The necklace is made with semi-precious black stones, a resin pendant, chunky gold chains, black ropes and gold spikes.

Armour Princess Necklace – The Making

The final necklace of the collection is the Armour Princess and here is the sketch. This is the most extravagant piece of the collection and has an intricately crafted metal plate casted with 18 Karat Gold Polish Plate and geometric cut-outs and the stones used are diesel layered glass beads, ceramic blueish-black beads, an Agate stone pendant with MOP chips on the border & shells and gold rods & geometric beads.

So there you have it a sneak peak at the Feisty Fox For Go Bold jewellery collection with Shaze, with a comprehensive view of the themes & sketches of the pieces, as well as the process and components that went into production of each of these statement necklaces. Each one of the necklaces reflects different facets of my personality  and I hope you have enjoyed all the behind the scenes action of the making, as well as the sneak peaks of all the necklaces.

Each of these necklaces are very close to my heart and a great deal of research, creative bent of mind and diligence has gone into making of each of these intricately crafted pieces and I can’t wait to share the final pieces with you real soon. Stay Tuned lovelies !
