LG Q6 -Full Vision Display !
Life’s Good when you have the perfect smartphone as a companion! In today’s day and age we are all so dependent on our smartphones for making our lives so much more convenient and we are always on keen on updating ourselves with the latest feature packed smartphone. As for me, as a blogger, my life literally depends on my smartphone and so I’m always on the look out for one with power packed features. For me personally I like my phones to be pretty compact in size but at the same time have a large display to make viewing pictures and videos more enjoyable, so when I heard of the latest LG Q6 with the 5.5-inch Full HD and FullVision display I was really excited to get my hands on this phone. I have been using the new LG Q6 phone for almost a month now and I’m super impressed with it’s features. Since I do watch a lot of my favourite youtuber’s videos on my phone, as well as play my favourite video games to de-stress, the Full Vision display of the LG Q6 gives me a fabulous viewing experience. Another feature of the phone I’ve been enjoying to the hilt is the wide angle selfie camera, that allows be to capture beautiful scenery along with my selfies and also take great group pictures with my girl gang. Also since I can be quite clumsy, I quite often drop my phone, so now with durable aluminum frame and rounded corners of the LG Q6 I need not worry about dropping and damaging my phone anymore. I’m going to be discussing my most favourite features of the phone in detail below.
LG Q6 Full Vision display
The main highlight of the LG Q6 is the FullVision display with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 18:9 screen aspect ratio with minimized bezels.
So with the minimized bezels you get a big screen in a small phone. So it makes playing video games and watching videos/movies on the phone so much more enjoyable for me. The Full Vision display of the Q6 gives a far more immersive viewing experience. View-angles are good, the colour reproduction is accurate, and I really enjoy watching videos on this phone.
The LG Q6 also provides multi-tasking convenience as its FullVision display’s 18:9 screen can be divided into two perfectly square windows. So I can actually can see and work on two different apps in one screen like checking my Facebook and watching You Tube videos simultaneously, which is really convenient and time-saving.
Durable Phone
I can be quite clumsy and drop my phone quite often and so I fear damaging them, but with the LG Q6 I need not worry about that issue anymore, as it has
rounded corners and a strong aluminium metal frame that protects the phone if it falls. The metallic frame is constructed of ultra-strong 7000 series aluminum. Even the screen is protected to a great extent with this frame. The other important aspect is that the LG Q6 comes with rounded corners. Rounded corners and a metal frame protect the device efficiently. The phone looks pretty sleek with it’s stylish metallic frame.
The Q6 underwent a series of stringent battery quality tests that exceed international testing standards. The device has passed 12 MIL-STD 810G standard tests for durability, which meant the phone is tough enough for use by the U.S. military. These tests include mechanical shock, high temperature, rain, humidity, sand and dust tests. So the unintentional drops from your pocket won’t be damaging your phone.
Front Wide Angle Camera
Selfies just got a whole lot interesting with the LG Q6 front wide angle camera. The Q6 is equipped with a 5MP front camera with a wide angle lens. I love using it when I’m travelling and want to capture the breath-taking scenery or architecture behind me.
Also say goodbye to those selfie sticks as the LG Q6 is great for capturing large group of people together. So managed to get some great wefies with my gang of friends. There’s a skin tone setting in the camera app to make your face look brighter, and blemish-free and in built filters too.
Face Recognition
Another super cool and convenient feature of the LG Q6 is the advanced security feature – Face Recognition, with which you can unlock your phone hands free. All you have to do is raise the phone to your face and it unlocks the phone. This feature is so time saving and it unlocks my phone with optimal convenience, and without having to type, draw, swipe or use a fingerprint.
The camera of the LG Q6 comes with 4 modes in the Square camera and that makes for some very interesting pictures:
The Match Shot – It enables me to have two frames in one pic in vertical alignment, which means both the front camera and the back camera are being used simultaneously to capture a selfie and the view in front of me at the same time.
Snapshot Feature – The camera app in the case of the LG G6, comes with a specialised Square mode that has been designed to make best use of the phone’s one-of-a-kind aspect ratio. So I can take a picture and then simultaneously preview it right away.
Guide Shot – It enables me to replicate a previously shot image so that the camera settings are the same. I find this feature useful for maintaining similar edits for my Instagram feed.
Grid Shot – Allows me to create a grid image combining 4 images shot one after the other. The final outcome is a square image that has a collage of 4 images that fits perfectly on Instagram.
Compact – Fits in one hand
The LG Q6 comes with a 5.5 inch display and still has quite compact dimensions which allows me to use it with just a single hand quite comfortably. Unlike other smartphones with similar display, the LG Q6 is quite handy and easy to operate, which further adds to the phone’s appeal.
I have really enjoyed using the Q6 to the hilt! For me the star, of course, is LG’s hallmark Full Vision display. LG has managed to house 5.5-inch full-HD display into a compact smartphone — and how! Overall the LG Q6 has a really distinct style and offers a lot of competitive features at a very affordable price making it a pretty fabulous buy.
